40 Weeks! My pregnancy was very smooth with no complications at all. I loved being pregnant, I felt great and even my back pains went away! You were the perfect little baby even when in my belly. I would feel you roll around in there and occasionally give me little kicks. Sometimes you would kick when I played you music, as a matter of fact the first time I felt you kick was when I played you "Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso" performed by Itzhak Perlman from this Masters of the Violin CD. I remember this because after that I would play it for you all the time. You didn't make me crave much except for Sprite, I had to have Sprite with every meal. I also couldn't eat meat or fish the first 3 months. Your Ah Ma was very worried that I only ate cereal. Fruit, I wanted to eat fruit all the time as well.
In my second trimester, I went back to New York. It was great, I had all this energy and I walked everywhere while my belly got bigger and bigger. We took a road trip to Mantauk for Dr. Rowe's birthday and a train/bus trip to Boston to see Leina and Anara.
For the last trimester I stayed put in LA waiting for you to arrive. We did take a weekend trip to Santa Barbara to celebrate my 40th birthday. The last month was a little hard but thank goodness for the "Maverick" recliner! I slept in that recliner for the last month of the pregnancy and 6 weeks more after you were born. It was in the family room right outside your nursery so I can hear you when you cried. There are a lot of pictures taken in this recliner. I also did most of your feedings there too.
